When surgery is required, we are able to treat many of these cancers with minimally-invasive surgery, including laparoscopic surgery, which allow patients to have an easier recovery and a shorter stay in hospital.
When radiation therapy is required, our patients receive prompt evaluations at the Genitourinary Radiation Assessment Clinic at Rouge Valley Centenary hospital campus. The clinic is staffed by radiation oncologists from the Odette Cancer Centre and Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
